When you submit your data for an Energy Star rating, you will also receive a Greenhouse Gas reading for the Building. This allows you to see how much Carbon Dioxide (CO2) your buildings are generating back into the environment. The reading is given in Metric Tons and looks at the cumulative calendar year, not the fiscal year.
Less energy used equals lower Greenhouse gases and less impact on the environment.
- Click on the Greenhouse Gases tab to view and compare the Greenhouse Gas readings for your Buildings.
